This walk will follow the Sanctuary Boundary of Ripon, passing the sites of eight sanctuary markers which recorded the granting of the right of sanctuary in the tenth century.
The sponsored walk this year, covers ten miles starting and finishing at Ripon Cathedral (or as an alternative, five miles, finishing at Ripon Walled Garden where refreshments will be available).
