We are all sad to hear the news that Errol Levine has died. Errol was the first Volunteer Bureau Manager in Ripon, and made an enormous success of this position, having had no previous voluntary sector experience.
The Volunteer Bureau grew under Errol. The emphasis of Errol’s work at the Volunteer Bureau was very much on enabling volunteers to be fully engaged in the community, he not only coordinated volunteers but was also closely involved in various developmental work of the CVS.
Errol through his work and supporting Ripon Community Link with volunteering, developed a passion for working with those with a learning disability and went on to found Time Together in 1991.
We all have a lot to be thankful for Errol’s contributions and our sincere condolences are with his family.
