Find the many hidden crayon rubbings, waiting to bring the creatures of the forest to life. The Trail is available in our shop for £1.50 and the rubbing plaques can be found all around the Woodland and Orchard, Ripon Walled Garden is open every day and free to enter.

As part of Children's National Gardening week, join our sunflower competition. During May half term we are encouraging children to come and plant a sunflower seed. We'll look after the plant here at the Walled Garden, but the children will each get a sunflower diary and will be encouraged to come often to water their sunflower and chart it's growth. There will be prizes for the tallest sunflower and the largest sunflower face.

Join us for an evening of ghost stories in the ancient city of Ripon. You'll hear about a haunted cinema and the Cathedral's mysterious bonehouse. The tours include tales of the fearful Workhouse and Courthouse buildings, finishing in time for you to meet the Hornblower in the Market Square. All proceeds from the ghost walks go to Ripon Walled Garden, supporting their Members with learning disabilities.

Join us for a fun filled day during our Summer Activity Week. Play in the sand pit, enjoy balloon modelling, dress up as a pirate or princess, take part in a boom wacker workshop or watch a movie. Our cafe will be serving freshly prepared food, ice cream and sweet treats all week and there will be a Bar, BBQ and Live Music on Saturday 15th. Watch this space as we'll be adding more activities as they are confirmed. Entry to the Walled Garden is Free.

A super fun family day out for all! Bring your apples for pressing! Orchard Games, Balloon Modeling, Tombola and Giving Tree, Live Music, Petting Farm, Cafe & Shop, with delicious home made treats. Bring your wellies for a Woodland Walk and much more!! Donations at the gate - all proceeds to Ripon Walled Garden.

Join us for our annual Pumpkin Patch, where ghosts, ghouls, and giggling families gather for a day of Halloween fun! Come dressed in your best costume, carve your perfect pumpkin right here on site. After your spooky adventures, warm up in our café with a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of Halloween-themed cake — or browse our shop for more seasonal treats. Entry is free, and every penny raised supports our charity helping adults with learning disabilities.
