On Thursday, we were delighted to celebrate the arrival of our new minibus with our Members, donors and supporters.
This is our first electric vehicle, supporting our commitment to sustainability while helping even more of our Members get out and about in the community safely, comfortably and in style.
The minibus was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and grant funders, including Simon Bailes Peugeot and Tricia Stones, George Moore Foundation, Harmony Energy, Marshall Viggars, Boroughbridge Lions, Harrogate MG Club, Percy Bilton Foundation, Skipton Building Society, Bettys Cone Exchange, private donors, and our amazing Members, who raised funds through a sponsored dancethon.
A long-standing tradition at the charity is that one of our Members gets to name each new vehicle we welcome. We’re delighted to announce that our new minibus has officially been christened Bobby – and we can’t wait to take him on his first adventure!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Your kindness and support mean the world to us, and Bobby is already set to make a real difference to the lives of our Members.
